Do I have to pay for parking?
If you are using the facilities at Leisure World Colchester, Aqua Springs or Charter Hall then parking is free. You can have your parking ticket validated at reception in Leisure World Colchester or Aqua Springs.
If you are not using the facilities then a 'pay on foot' system applies.
Do you have any job vacancies?
All current job vacancies are advertised at www.colchester.gov.uk
I want to do work experience with you, how do I apply?
Work experience with us is very popular and you should enquire as far in advance as possible. Please send your request in writing, or by email, to us.
Can I collect my tickets on the night of the event?
Yes you can. Box Office will be open 90 minutes prior to a performance and tickets can be collected up until the event starts. Once the event starts the Box office will close and therefore you will not be able to collect your tickets.
I booked my tickets online but I haven't received them yet?
All online bookings need to be collected in person either prior to, or on the night of, the event.
I've tried booking a family ticket online but it isn't letting me do it?
Please call the Box Office on 01206 282020 to arrange a family ticket booking. This is so the Box Office can find out the age of the children to ensure you are given the best value for money.
I am having trouble booking my tickets online.
This may be due to the event being sold out or there may not be enough seats left in the allotted block. Please call the Box Office on 01206 282020 to arrange your booking.
I have lost my tickets, what can I do?
Please call the box office on 01206 282020 so we can find your booking and arrange collection of the re-printed tickets.
Do you do refunds?
Once a ticket is purchased, tickets can not be exchanged or refunded.
What are the age limits for concession tickets?
Under 16s are classed as a child ticket and over 60 is classed as a senior ticket (should concessions prices be available). A child 3 years and under is free provided they sit on an adults lap.
Do you do concessions for disabilities/students/children etc?
Depending on the promoter of the event, concessions can be available - but it is not a standard rule for all events. Please call the Box Office on 01206 282020 to find out.
Is photography permitted in the hall?
This is down to the discretion of the promoter for the event. Please call the box office on 01206 282020 to find out for a specific event.
What is cabaret style?
The seats are set out around tables with a continual bar rolling throughout the performance. There is also more space to get up and have a dance.
What payment methods do you accept at the box office?
We accept all credit/debit cards except for American express and visa electron. Cash is also acceptable as is a cheque (a cheque guarantee card will need to be provided).
What are the Box Office opening times?
The Box Office is open 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 1pm on Saturdays and it opens 90 minutes prior to a weekend performance. The Box Office is closed on all bank holidays.
Are there any booking fees?
The Box Office charges 30p per ticket card fee when paying with any credit/debt card. There is also a 50p postage fee charged on top of the total should you want the tickets posted out when booking over the phone.
Do you do gift vouchers?
Leisure World gift vouchers can be used to obtain tickets for Charter Hall. These can be purchased from Leisure World main reception.
